IPLab, Scientific Imaging Software for Digital Microscopy, Vision Systems, and Automated Image Processing: IPLab's modular software design will customize image acquisition, processing, measurement, and analysis to your own particular needs. IPLab offers optional plug-in software extension modules to perform specialized tasks and to control automated microscopes, shutters, filters, and many other devices. It has many applications in analytical imaging, including fluorescence and brightfield microscopy, ratiometric imaging, deconvolution, and automated sample screening applications. You can measure many image parameters, such as objects' dimensions, number, and pixel intensities.
Image Acquisition: IPLab controls many popular scientific-grade CCD cameras and the camera controls are free. IPLab's Multi-Dimensional Image Acquisition operates as an "Imaging Control Panel" and will display live images in preview mode, capture individual frames or programmed time lapse sequences, while simultaneously controlling shutters, filter wheels, XY stage and Z-axis focus. IPLab supports auto-exposure, pixel binning, capture region of interest, and full frame image acquisition. View our list of cameras and frame grabbers supported by IPLab.
Deconvolution: Choose one of IPLab's optional deconvolution software extension modules to remove haze and out-of-focus light from fluorescence and brightfield images. IPLab-Windows InFocus and Advanced InFocus deconvolution modules will process image Z-stacks, and provide you with a number of image de-blurring algorithms including constrained iterative and nearest/no neighbor methods.
Microtiter Plate Screening: Equip your IPLab with Motion Control and create an automated microtiter plate imaging system. Motion Control will drive automated microscope stands and third-party XY and Z stages using IPLab scripts that are programmed to control a camera and motorized devices simultaneously. IPLab will sequentially capture images of individual wells in 96- and 384-well plates, and perform image analysis applications such as colony counts, elispots, and protein crystallization studies.
