Scanalytics Announces
New President and CEO

(Fairfax, VA -- April 24, 2000) Scanalytics is pleased to announce the appointment of Fernando Delaville as its new President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Delaville succeeds Dr. Michael Mort, founder of Signal Analytics Corporation and president of Scanalytics for the last three years.

Mr. Delaville has extensive experience in the field of biomedical imaging and microscopy. He is well-versed in all the company’s markets and products from his previous work experience at both Signal Analytics and Scanalytics. From 1993 to 1998, Mr. Delaville worked first as a Biomedical Engineer and programmer, and later as Product Manager for Microscopy Applications. For the last two years, Mr. Delaville was Biomedical Products Manager for Atto Instruments, LLC in Rockville, MD. Mr. Delaville holds a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University.
