Image Acquisition

IPLab’s Acquire commands handle all of the image acquisition parameters for you, including exposure time, image size, binning factor, time lapse and even hardware device (shutter and filter) control. What's more, our Acquire commands present you with control of all this in a coherent manner. You only need to enter these parameters once, and then you can quickly reuse them for any and all additional image captures.


You can easily build a library of different acquisitions for use during your experiment. By recording acquisition commands with IPLab’s powerful scripting feature, you can automate your acquisitions and entire experiments.


The ability of IPLab to control all aspects of image capture, coupled with the versatility of scripting acquisition routines, make gathering your data much easier and faster.


IPLab ships with the full suite of camera controls. As we add new support for devices, we will freely distribute the new camera controls from our Downloads page.
